How do I move my license to a new computer?

Your license covers a set number of computers. To use it on a new computer, free up the old computer’s spot first, then activate PubKeep on the new one.

On the old computer

1. Save your work.
2. Click File > Account.
3. Click Deactivate this computer.
4. Click Deactivate to confirm.

PubKeep will ask for a license key the next time you use it on that computer.

On the new computer

1. Install PubKeep.
2. Paste your license key into the License key box. See Enter your license key.

Not sure where your key is? On the old computer, File > Account shows it. Click Copy to copy it.

If you can’t get to the old computer

If the old computer broke, was replaced, or was wiped, write to hello@pubkeep.com from the email you bought with. We’ll free up its spot.

If the new computer says the key is already in use

PubKeep shows This license key is already in use. when every computer on your license is set up.

1. Deactivate one of your other computers as shown above.
2. Back on the new computer, click Check my license.
