How do I enter my license key?
PubKeep asks for your license key the first time it opens on a computer. Your key is in the email we sent when you started your trial or bought a license.
- Find the email from PubKeep with your license key. If you started a free trial, it’s titled “Your free PubKeep trial is ready”.
- Select the key in the email (double-click it) and copy it with Ctrl+C (on a Mac, Cmd+C).
- Open PubKeep. You’ll see Activate PubKeep.
- Under Already have a license key?, click in the License key box and paste with Ctrl+V (on a Mac, Cmd+V).
- PubKeep activates as soon as you paste, and you’re in. If you typed the key instead, click Activate.
Check that it worked
Section titled “Check that it worked”Click File > Account. Under Your license you’ll see Active, and the status says Activated on this computer. The same page shows your license key, the email it belongs to, and how many computers are in use.
If it still asks for a key
Section titled “If it still asks for a key”It says the key was not accepted
Section titled “It says the key was not accepted”Paste the key rather than typing it. Some letters and numbers look alike. See My license key isn’t accepted.
I bought a license but I’m still on the trial
Section titled “I bought a license but I’m still on the trial”See I bought PubKeep but it still asks for a license.
I don’t have the email
Section titled “I don’t have the email”Search your email for “PubKeep” and check your spam or junk folder. If you still can’t find it, write to hello@pubkeep.com and we’ll send it again.
I want to use a different key
Section titled “I want to use a different key”Click File > Account > Use a different license key, paste the new key into New license key, and click Switch key. PubKeep checks the new key first, so your current key keeps working if the new one can’t be used.
