    My license key isn't accepted

If PubKeep says That license key was not accepted. Check that you pasted it exactly., the key it got doesn’t match one we sent. Usually a character is missing or changed.

    1. Open the email from PubKeep with your license key.
    2. Double-click the key to select all of it, then copy it with Ctrl+C (on a Mac, Cmd+C).
    3. In PubKeep, click in the License key box, delete anything already there, and paste with Ctrl+V (on a Mac, Cmd+V).
    4. PubKeep tries the key as soon as you paste it.

A license key is a long string of letters and numbers, and capital and small letters count. Some look almost the same: a capital I and a small l, a capital O and a zero, a small l and the number 1. Pasting avoids all of these.

If we sent you more than one email, for example a trial key and later a purchase key, use the newest one. Search your email for “PubKeep”, and check your spam or junk folder too.

Make sure you copied only the key, not the words around it. If you copied from a phone or a PDF, try copying it again from the email on your computer.

PubKeep needs the internet the first time you activate. Check your connection and try again. On a work network, ask whoever manages it to allow updates.pubkeep.com.

Write to hello@pubkeep.com from the email you signed up or bought with. We’ll check your key and send it again.
