Is a license per computer or per person?

A PubKeep license is per computer. You buy it for a set number of computers, from 1 to 25, and one license key works on all of them.

    • Each computer you activate PubKeep on uses one spot on your license.
    • A laptop and a desktop count as two computers, even if one person uses both.
    • Shared Remote Desktop and terminal servers are different. They’re licensed per named user, not per computer.

See how many computers your license covers

Section titled “See how many computers your license covers”
    1. Open PubKeep.
    2. Click File > Account.
    3. Look at Computers. It shows how many are in use out of how many your license covers, like “2 of 3 in use”.
    1. Install PubKeep on the other computer.
    2. Paste the same license key. See Enter your license key.

If every spot is already taken, PubKeep says This license key is already in use. You can free a spot on a computer you no longer use with File > Account > Deactivate this computer, then click Check my license on the new one. See Move your license to a new computer.

Click Add a computer on that screen, or go to the buy page and choose the number of computers you need. For a church office, school or team, see volume licenses.

I already have a license. Can I add computers to it?

Section titled “I already have a license. Can I add computers to it?”

Write to hello@pubkeep.com from the email you bought with, and tell us how many computers you need in all. We’ll help you get there.

Yes. Every license includes the web version at app.pubkeep.com. Sign in there with the same license key. See PubKeep on a Mac, in a browser or on a tablet.

Write to hello@pubkeep.com. We can also send an invoice or work from a purchase order.
