Microsoft 365 loses Publisher
On October 1, 2026, a Microsoft 365 subscription can no longer install Publisher. Microsoft says to convert your files before then.
Older copies keep working, for now
Publisher 2016, 2019, and 2021 still open .pub files. Microsoft ends their support on October 13, 2026. Office LTSC 2024 shipped with no Publisher.
