Goodbye Publisher, hello PubKeep.

On October 1, Publisher goes away for Microsoft 365 subscribers. On October 13, support ends for the versions people bought outright. Your .pub files don't disappear, but the app that made them does. For a lot of church offices, schools, nonprofits and families, that is years of bulletins, newsletters, programs and calendars.

PubKeep is the answer we built for them. It's a desktop app for Windows and Mac that opens your .pub files and lets you keep editing them, just like always. Nothing re-flowed and nothing to rebuild. The ribbon works the way you're used to, so you don't have to relearn anything. When you're done, print it or save it to PDF. Your work saves as .pubk, an open format, so you're never locked in.

PubKeep is a one-time purchase. No subscription, and it keeps working even if you never pay for another update.

If you're already in early access.

Thank you. More than 400 churches, 200 nonprofits, and a lot of schools and small businesses joined early access, opened their own files, and told us what was wrong. PubKeep is much better because of you.

Your copy keeps working through October 15. If you're waiting on a purchase order or a board approval, email hello@pubkeep.com and we'll work with you. When you buy, use the same email you use for early access and your license carries over to the app you already have.

If you only need PDFs.

Not everyone needs to keep editing. If you just want your archive saved, PubKeep Converter turns a whole folder of .pub files into exact PDFs, page for page. Your first 3 files are free.

We're not done. Every week PubKeep opens more files more faithfully, and the list of what's coming is driven by what you send us. If a file doesn't look right, use Report an issue in the app and tell us. A real person reads every one.
